We are pleased to announce that our next showing will be on Tuesday 10th July when we will screen ‘The Post’.
Rated as one of the best films of 2017 and directed by Steven Spielberg. Meryl Streep stars as Katherine Graham, the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, and Tom Hanks as Ben Bradlee, the executive editor of The Washington Post. Graham races to catch up with The New York Times to expose a massive cover-up of government secrets that spans three decades and four U.S. presidents. Together, they must overcome their differences as they risk their careers — and very freedom — to help bring long-buried truths to light.
We hope that you can join us for this new regular event. We will be showing 6 films a year, on the second Tuesday of the Month, every other Month, starting from September 2018. All Film Nights will be advertised in the Villager, please put the dates in your diary and remember this is open to all local villages and your friends.
Doors open at 7pm with film showing at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 on the door (Small Notes and change for entrance fees, drinks and ice cream very much appreciated).
