We are pleased to announce the return of the local village challenge cricket match between a Lasham XI and a Bentworth XI on Bank Holiday Monday 30th August at Bentworth Cricket Ground, courtesy of Henry Berens.
The game will start at 1pm and be a T20 format but as is the tradition, player numbers and format may vary slightly depending on attendance. Players of all levels and ages are welcomed, a soft ball will be used and the main aim is to have fun and raise some funds for the cricket club.
A barbecue and drinks will be available and spectators are actively encouraged. The match will of course be dependant on national and local guidance of COVID-19 in place at the time.
