Major repairs to the St Mary’s Church tower will commence on Monday 23 August. Heavy lorries moving around the village will come as a result, and parking may be restricted around the church. The works are expected to last approximately six weeks and it is hoped that disruption will be minimal.
It will however, be wonderful to see this beautiful tower which was designed by the famous Victorian architect, Aston Webb, restored to its former glory.
