St Mary’s Bentworth – Unlocking

St Mary’s Bentworth – Unlocking

After many years of dedicated service, 365 days a year, the Yonge family have earned a welcome break from their unlocking/locking duties at the church. We are hugely grateful for the commitment they have shown over the years to this time-consuming job.

However, we have been able to recruit a willing band of volunteers who will take on this responsibility. This will work on a monthly rota system with the name of the key holder being published in the Villager. The church will however, be locked after the morning service on Sundays so should you need to gain access to the church on a Sunday please contact the church wardens. We are immensely grateful to the group who have volunteered for this responsibility as it is quite a commitment but it is wonderful to know that our beautiful church will remain open and welcoming for all.

June key holder – Tony Costigan
