Susie Greenwood is hosting another of her fabulous talks this time by RUSS MALLACE who joined the navy in April 1949 aged 18. He served as a fighter pilot flying Sea Furies from HMS Ocean from May to November 1952 during the Korean war.
The Korean war was slightly over shadowed by the 2nd world war and therefore has been slightly forgotten but more than 90,000 British troops served with inevitable consequences.
Russ talks all over the country and it will be a fascinating talk so please come if you can to listen to a true and brave man, like so many, who fought for us!!
And, so generously, it’s all in aid of Broadlands RDA.
Please Come: Thursday 26th April, Wivelrod Barns, Wivelrod Road, Alton, Hants. GU34 4AS
6.30pm for 7 pm start.
