The Annual Meeting Of Parishioners when your Churchwardens are elected – voting is open to all those on the Electoral Roll of the Civil Parish – will precede the APCM. At the Annual Parochial Church Meeting reports are given of the activities of the church, the accounts presented, and members of the PCC, Deanery Synod Representatives, and other officers, are elected. The bell ropes at St Mary’s church, Bentworth, need replacing, after 30 years. The bellringers have a fund, saved from wedding fees and contributions from visiting ringers, which can be used. But the total cost of new ropes is £1031, of which the fund can contribute £773, leaving £258 to be raised. ...
