Neighbourhood Plan – Public Meeting 15th December

Neighbourhood Plan – Public Meeting 15th December

A big thanks to everyone who attended the Public Meeting on 15th December.  The Jubilee Hall was packed, with 110 parishioners attending, a great turn-out!

Those who were there heard the results of the Questionnaire and saw the first draft of our Vision, Objectives, Policies and Community Aspirations.  East Hampshire District Council also provided information about the additional sites that have been put forward for development in the parish.  The meeting was an opportunity for parishioners to air their views and ask questions in person to both the Parish Council and the Steering Committee. We also briefed parishioners on the next steps in the process.

When finalised, the draft Vision, Objectives, Policies and Community Aspirations will form an important part of the Neighbourhood Plan.  The draft, which reflects the responses to the questionnaire, is reproduced separately on this website.

We had good feedback at the Public Meeting, but we would really welcome further input from parishioners.  This can be done by sending us an email at

Once we have received this input, we will undertake a further round of consultation.  This is likely to involve a mixture of further questionnaires and Public Meetings.

We will continue to keep parishioners abreast of progress through updates in “The Villager” and through this website. The website contains Minutes of the Steering Committee meetings, information about the additional sites for development and also a list of Frequently Asked Questions, which you may find useful.

If you have any questions, you can send us an email at
