Participatory Budgeting

Participatory Budgeting

Bentworth Parish Council have allocated £1,000 in the current budget for Participatory Budgeting. This means that they want you, the people of Bentworth, to tell them how you would like this money to be spent.

It could be allocated to more than one project or all of it to one project; the choice will be yours. If you are looking for a grant for a local club or village activity that would also be considered.

Firstly we would like you to tell us how you would like this money to be spent. It must be on a project that is legal and will be of some benefit to the community. It could be used as a grant to help a local club or community activity or it could be a capital project that you feel needs funding.

Your ideas should be fully costed, and if your idea is chosen we would expect you to be involved in the implementation of the project.

Once we have your ideas the Parish Council will short list them and there will then be a public vote to decide which project/s the money will support..

Please use the form below to tell us your ideas.

Please return your form to the Sun or the Star or to any of the Parish councillors no later than 30th June.
