Bentworth Parish Neighbourhood Plan
Those parishioners who attended the Public Meeting on 27th October 2015 will be aware that the Parish Council decided on 7th July 2015 that Bentworth should have a Neighbourhood Plan. Papers from the Public Meeting are available on the Parish Council website.
At the Public Meeting, the Parish Council asked for volunteers to serve on a Steering Committee, which would take forward work on the Neighbourhood Plan. At its meeting on 1st December 2015, the Parish Council appointed the following persons to the Committee:
Colin Brooks, Jenny French, Dave Hutley, Boyd McCleary, Veronica Parker, Debbie Rhodes, Nicholas Branch, David Hawes, Jean Cornelius, Peter Egerton-Warburton, Kathryn Courtier.
The Steering Committee held its first meeting on 13th January 2016.
The Steering Committee would like to advise parishioners of its understanding that East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) are planning to invite applications for SHLAA sites early in 2016. Interested landowners should contact EHDC.
Any parishioner who would like to submit views/comments on the Neighbourhood Plan may do so to the following email address, which will be available throughout the process: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Steering Committee will provide regular updates through “The Villager” and on the Parish Council website.
