Several mums from Bentworth school are taking on the Moon Walk charity walk in London on 14th May to raise money to fight against Breast Cancer. As part of their sponsorship fundraising efforts they are holding a band night on Sat 19th March in the Jubilee Hall featuring local Bentworth mum, Julie Grey (who is also in the Moon Walk team) in her well known band ‘Stone Gecko’ (see attached). ...

What an odd year. The daffodils are racing up and the snowdrops are going slow. My May flowering exochorda shrub was in bloom in December and iris reticulata and grape hyacinth have flowered. We are enjoying really good winter talks season with something organised every Saturday from the bonfire night party through to Easter. Non-members and members of other clubs are welcome to attend. Some dates and talks might change but listed below is the current situation. Hopefully there will be something that interests everybody.Saturday talks will normally commence at 6pm and will be held in the Brown Elephant briefing room if it is available. The talks are free of charge but as is customary, a silver collection will be made at the end of each talk for the Lasham Trust or other deserving cause.
