Neighbourhood Plan Public Meeting
Many thanks to everyone who attended the Public Meeting on 28th November. We had well over 100 people in the Jubilee Hall, standing room only!
The remarks made by all the speakers will be posted soon on the Parish Council website, so that those who could not attend can bring themselves up to speed. May I remind parishioners that all the key documents, maps and Frequently Asked Questions are on the website in a separate section covering the Neighbourhood Plan.
We need to draw your attention to one error in the material previously made available about the potential sites. East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) had originally informed us that site BTW006a at The Homestead, New Copse was 0.97 hectares in size. Following a question asked at the Public Meeting, EHDC have checked their data and advised us that the size is actually less than half this size at 0.45 hectares. This means that, as with BTW005, it would not be possible to put “about 12 dwellings” onto this site without going above 20 dwellings per hectare. You may wish to take this into account in your Expression of Preferences.
Please return your Expression of Preferences forms to Boyd McCleary at Sycamore House (to the right of “The Star”). There is a box on the bench outside the front door for forms to be placed. May we ask that you use the space on the back of the form to let us have any comments on the Vision, Objectives and Policies. Deadline for return of forms is 8th December 2017.
