Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch

There are so many ‘scams’ in operation at the moment that one is not sure whether to answer the telephone or open the door. However, I repeat myself again, to warn everyone against giving out information to any unsolicited caller. There is NEVER a need to divulge your bank pin number to anyone – even if they purport to be ringing from your bank or the police.

Please try to keep your doors and windows closed as much as possible, as opportunist thieves can be in and out of your house in a trice with your handbag or car keys. This is not so easy now that the better weather has arrived, I do appreciate that.

Should you be needing to contact the police on a non-urgent matter then 101 is the number to call. Please only use 999 for emergencies.

If you are not on John Stockdale’s email list of Neighbourhood Watch recipients, and wish to be included please contact him directly: john.stockdale@jhs.myzen.co.uk
